Patricia Ann Phillips McDaniel, 80, passed away in the wonderful care of Hospice Home of Alamance/Caswell County on April 7, 2017. She was a devoted wife, precious mother, loyal sister, beloved Granny, and wonderful friend. She spent her life caring for her most prized possession, her family, and will be dearly missed by all of them.
A graveside service will be at 2 PM Tuesday, April 11 at Lakeview Memorial Park, officiated by Pastor Rick Chandler. The family will receive friends and family from 6 to 8 PM on Monday, April 10 at Hanes-Lineberry N. Elm chapel.
Patricia is preceded in death by her loving husband of 43 years, Edward L. McDaniel (1997); parents, Sam and Kathleen Walters Phillips; brothers, Charles W. Phillips and wife Anna Morgan Phillips, and Donald R. Phillips. She is survived by her children, Donald L. McDaniel and wife Peggy, Ricky D. McDaniel, and Cindy M. Greene and husband Malcolm, all of Browns Summit; grandchildren, Sherry Laws, Melissa Welborn and husband Jason, Dawn Lingo and husband Todd, and Donnie McDaniel; great grandchildren, Bryson Welborn, Zachery Laws, Addison McDaniel, Savanah Welborn, Skylar Lingo, Sydney Lingo, Karson McDaniel, Erin Laws, and Marisa Laws White; very special sister and best friend, Nancy Hardy and husband Donald; three nephews, eight great nephews; five great great nephews and nieces; an extended family; and many friends.
