Moses was born on January 4, 1942 unto the union of Mr. Baysah Korti Sr. and Mrs. Kolu Woiwor Korti affectionately called Mom "Sodigwala". He was Baptized and Confirmed in the Lutheran Church.
Moses went home on March 31st, 2017, surrounded by the loving care of several family members, at the Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Moses was preceded in death by his Parents Baysah and Kolu Sodigwala Korti, Son: Amos Korti, Brothers Steven, Kollie and Saygbay Korti, Sisters Sowo and Sowoni Akoi Korti.
Moses Kpaka Korti is survived by his wife Yassah Korti in Indianapolis, Indiana, seven children: Kaibeh in Liberia, Emmanuel & Oretha in the United States, Baysah in Sudan, Hawa in Liberia, Julian "Kpoto" in Liberia, Mamai in Liberia, and Kolu in Liberia. Several brothers, Sisters, Nephews, Nieces, and Cousins, One paternal uncle, Tanue Jallah of Vezala, Liberia; and many Friends and former Co-workers of Lamco, Yekepa, Nimba County and the entire Deigenmai and Worloma Families around the world.
Funeral services start at 10:00 A.M on Saturday, April 22 at Christus Victor Lutheran Church 1045 S Arlington Heights Road, Elk Grove Village, IL 60007.
Visitation will be on Friday April 21 from 5-9 PM at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 5015 Lincoln Ave, Lisle IL 60532. Interment Wheaton Commentary 1209 Warrenville Road, Wheaton, IL 60189
