Carolyn Franklin, 66, of Texarkana, AR passed away April 8, 2017 in a local hospital. Mrs. Franklin was born February 7, 1951 in Texarkana.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Lacy; husband, Robert Franklin; son, Kenneth Franklin; and brother, Tommy Lacy.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Steven and Ashley Franklin of Texarkana; son, Melvin Parrish; grandchildren, Brittany Franklin, Allison Franklin, Austin Franklin, Preston Franklin and Paityn Franklin all of Texarkana; great grandchild, Kylii Laughlin of Texarkana; and two special nieces; and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Grady and Sandra Franklin of Cotton Valley, LA.
Services will be 10 a.m., Thursday, April 13, 2017 at East Memorial Chapel - Downtown. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens under the direction of East Funeral Home - Downtown.
Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at the funeral home.
