I first met MAJ McIlroy at Ft. Ord, Ca when I was assigned to his command. We both had a good laugh when we discovered we were both Midwestern ROTC graduates. He was in the class of 58. I was in the class of 72. He was a kind and patient man, soft spoken and mild mannered. He was well liked and respected by all who knew him. I have thought of him often during the years and feel deeply saddened to learn of his death. My heartfelt prayers and sympathies go out to his loved ones. John W. Orsak, Denton, TX.

Dear Mary, et al
I am saddened to read of Richards death. I can hear his laugh as I sit here typing this -- sitting in choir; singing in the men's ensemble; being around a table at the Wednesday night fellowship dinners; the men's Sunday School class; and talking "Military" speak.
Well God has another tenor in His heavenly choir now.
God bless all of you.
