Clara Ann Wylie, 89, died Monday, April 10, 2017 at Envoy of Staunton.
She was born April 2, 1928 in Bellows Falls, Vermont, a daughter of the late Tony and Lena Kissell Lisai.
She was of the Catholic Faith and a homemaker.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, George Edward Wylie; daughter, Claudia Lam; brother, Leonard Lisai; sisters, Pauline Fountain and Larysa Howard.
Survivors include a son, Mark Wylie and wife, Charlotte of Elkton; sister, Barbara Shuffelt of Hurley, New York; four grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 14, 2017 at Thornrose Cemetery conducted by Msgr. Andrew Cassin.
There will be no public viewing or visitation at the funeral home.
Those wishing to attend the service may meet directly at the cemetery.

Mark, so sorry for the loss of your mom. She was a great lady. I wish I had known her in her younger years. I formed a bond with her when I "set" with her in 2015. We had some crazy laughing conversations that actually made my day. I'd like to think it made hers too. May God Bless you and your family.
