Robert "Bob" Edwin Bulmer, Sr. entered peacefully into heaven on April 9, 2017. Devoted husband of Rose Mary Guidroz Bulmer of 46 years. Loving father of Robert Edwin Bulmer, Jr. (Susan), Cynthia Taylor (Michael), Sandra Pearce (Curtis), Joseph DuPont (Shirley), Tyrrell DuPont (Janet), and the late Ronna DuPont Benson. A proud grandfather of 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Son of the late Christine Land Bulmer and LeRoy Bulmer, Sr. Brother of Mable Moulds (Calvin), Jean Laurent (Paul) and the late LeRoy Bulmer, Jr. He is also survived by numerous loving nieces, nephews, other relative and friends.
Age 86, a native of Los Angles, CA and a lifelong resident of the Westbank and Lafitte.
"Bob" served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. After being discharged he owned Bulmer Auto & Fender Repair Shop for many years, a wrecker service, and drove a school bus for 31 years. He enjoyed serving his community with the Masons and a Shriners.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Masonic service at Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expy., Marrero, LA on Saturday, April 15, 2017 at 11:00 am. Visitation from 9:00 am until service time. Interment following in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemeter, Gretna, LA. Express condolences at www.westsideleitzeagan.com.
