Hazel Compton Stultz, age 95, of Martinsville, passed away Monday, April 10, 2017, at Blue Ridge Manor in Martinsville.
She was born June 27, 1921, in Henry County to the late Eugene and Snowy Mae Law Compton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Lee Stultz, 5 sisters and 4 brothers. She was a member of the North Fork Primitive Baptist Church. She retired from DuPont as a Nylon Technician.
Surviving are 1 son, Leonard "Bill" (Faye) Stultz of Martinsville; grandchildren, Eric (Christa) Stultz of Mt. Pleasant, S.C., and Jodi (Brian) Barnes of Woolwine, VA; great grandchildren, Chase (Laken) Barnes and Nicholas Barnes; and 1 sister, Mildred Fulcher of Martinsville, VA.
The family will receive friends Friday, 10 am to 11 am, at Collins-McKee-Stone Funeral Home, 109 Broad St., Martinsville, with services to follow at 11 am with Elder Raymond Goad and Pastor Tim Mills. Burial to follow at Roselawn Burial Park.
Memorials may be made in Hazel's honor to Mt. Olivet Christian Church, 3261 Mt. Olivet Rd, Martinsville, VA 24112
The family would like to thank the staff of Blue Ridge Manor and Mountain Valley Hospice for all the love and care that they all extended to Hazel in her final days.
