Elaine Theall Murhammer was entrusted into God’s loving arms and was called to his Heavenly home on April 12, 2017. Elaine was a World War II Veteran of the United States Navy Waves (2 years, 2 months, 2 days) and was stationed in Sampson, NY. She was a longtime resident of New Orleans, LA and was a Board member and Secretary Treasurer of Morality in Media in Louisiana. She was born on November 24, 1920 in Abbeville, La to Lorna A. Dore and Francis A. Theall. She was married for 54 years to the late William A. Murhammer; and is survived by her 5 children Mary Mehaffey (Cham), Bill Murhammer, Jr. (Debbie), Fred Murhammer (Judy), John Murhammer, and Edward Murhammer (Robyn); and grandchildren Griffith Mehaffey and Michael Murhammer (Danacee). Services took place privately for the family.
