Nessa Langer, 82 of New York City, NY passed away on April 14, 2017. She was born on April 5, 1935 in the Bronx, New York. Nessa worked for many years in New York, and retired as an Office Manager and Bookkeeper. She loved to travel, make jewelry, paint, draw, knit and crochet, and was a Red Hat lady for a period of time. Nessa had a very loving and charitable heart, and caring for her family and friends was the biggest part of her life. Nessa is survived by her daughter, Ronda Shapiro; her grandson, Michael Shapiro and his wife Mariam and by nieces, nephews, cousins and loving family members and dear friends.



In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the National Lupus Foundation.
