Barbara Louise Robertson, 88, passed away peacefully Thursday night, at Regency Retirement Village in Huntsville, surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Robertson is preceded in death by her parents, Turner Batley and Pearl Wesson Batley; and her loving husband of 64 years, A.M. “Smokey” Robertson.

Left to cherish her precious memory are her two sons, Michael Robertson (Pricilla) of Toney and Al Robertson (Alina) of Woodstock, GA; her brother, Robert Batley of Birmingham; her sister, Janelle Kline of Rockville, MA; three grandchildren, Abby Robertson of Greenville, SC, Miles Robertson of Toney, AL and Megan Robertson of Denver, CO; a host of nieces and nephews; and several other relatives and friends.

My aunt Bobby and uncle A.M. made so many special memories in my childhood possible. Lake Guntersville was always a great time with family. My mother has shared many stories about Bobby growing up in Birmingham. She is very much loved. My deepest sympathies to all of her family and friends.
