Betty Ruth Clay, 73, of Chattanooga Tennessee passed away Wednesday, April 12, 2017 in a local hospital. She was a member of Rossville Church of God. Betty was an award-winning sales supervisor at JC Penney.
She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Clay, her daughter Lori Wood and son Anthony Michael Nordman.
Survivors include her companion, Andrew Frazzitta; three sons, Charles Mainord of Chattanooga Tennessee, Robert Mainord of Redding, California and Stephen Nordman of Yorktown, Virginia; 14 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one sister Vicky Rae Scholz of Redding, California; two brothers Ricky Elms and Delbert Elms both of Phoenix Arizona.
Graveside services will be held at 12:30 PM Wednesday at Chattanooga National Cemetery with Robert Mainord officiating. Arrangements are by the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 404 S Moore Rd.
Memorial contributions may be made to Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital.
