Dear Mike, Al and Lil,
What a great lady and wonderful person. Growing up next door to Mickey, Mike and the Mook's was a wonderful part of being a child. Mickey was a second mother to my sister and I and the memories will always be there for both of us. Mickey always knew what a child needed to hear and her love for us and other people was incredible. There were many summers spent at the La Playa on the beach and I think she took Mike and I to the old "Drug store" several times a week for junk food and comic books. Mickey always had a smile on her face and her visits to Gainesville with Al for the football games were better than going to the game. It made for a fun Saturday. Mickey would visit Mike several times a year while he was at Mercer and all of us in the fraternity looked forward to seeing her, see inherited 60 son's. The happiest I can ever remember her was the day she married Al Loomis - what a great guy he is and what a wonderful marriage they enjoyed together. Mickey is and was a Lady who will be forever missed!
