Mrs. Brenda Dodge Szlosek of Reva, VA, beloved wife of Clayton E. Szlosek, passed away at her residence Friday April 14, 2017.
Brenda was born August 7, 1940 to the parents George and Florence Dodge, in Cambridge, Mass. She was the youngest of four siblings. Brenda graduated from Notre Dame in Cambridge, Mass.
Brenda married Clayton Szlosek in 1960. Brenda was a housewife and lived all over the world. She enjoyed camping and always loved her adopted companions.
Brenda is survived by her husband Clayton E. Szlosek, her son Gary S. Szlosek and wife Terry of Reva, her daughter Lisa A. Pierson and husband N. Dwayne Pierson of Madison; Grandchildren Ashleigh Szlosek of Culpeper, Kyle Szlosek and wife Kaitlyn Szlosek of Colo., Rocky Pierson and Shelby Pierson of Madison. Step Grandchildren Matt McCarley of Madison and Samantha Scott of Culpeper. Great Grandson Greyson N. Swett. Great Step Grandchildren Jade McCarley , Rylie Dodson and Mackenzie Dodson. She is preceded in death by her son Michael J. Szlosek, her parents George and Florence Dodge; her brothers Phillip and George Dodge, and her sister Joan D. Broadhurst.
At Brenda's request, no services will be held. The family is grateful for the condolences from friends and family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to, Care for Madison County Animal Shelter, Madison Virginia 22727.
