GRESCH, Vivian A., 88, of Mechanicsville, Va., went to be with the Lord and her husband, Jim Gresch, the love of her life, for eternity on April 15, 2017, the same day Jim passed away six years ago. They met in high school in Milwaukee, Wis. and were blessed with three sons. She is survived by her son, Jeffrey, his wife, Evelyn and their two children, Jeffrey Jr. and Robert; her son, Tom and his wife, Danease; and her son, Jay, his wife, Merri and their two children, Ashley (Matt) Carter and Taylor Gresch; and one great-granddaughter, Tessa Carter. She is also survived by her two sisters, Lorna Visvader and Darlene Marineau. Holiday meals were always special at Mom's, especially when she made her famous "Cheese Torte!" Her favorite pastimes were sewing, cross-stitching and crafts. Her house was full of her cross-stitching. She also loved golfing, bingo, bowling and reading. Vivian was blessed with a long, happy life and will be missed by all who knew her. Visitation for family and friends will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 19, at Woody Funeral Home, Atlee Chapel, 9271 Shady Grove Road, Mechanicsville, Va. 23116. A commemorative service will be at 2 p.m. and entombment to follow at Signal Hill Memorial Park.

What a great lady and couple, Vivian and Jim---
I worked with this couple for some 20 years and they were great to me and very friendly and down to earth folks.
