Kevin and Andy, so sad to hear of your mother's passing. I knew your Mom for all of my life -- my earliest memory of her was from Claudine and Ernie Woerner's wedding back in the 50's. Barb was a bridesmaid, and I was flower girl... I remember well the lively spirit and good natured laughter that Barb brought everywhere with her. Despite many trials through the years, Barb's positive spirit was unflagging. Her grace under pressure and endless good humor are truly an inspiration. My most sincere condolences on this loss.

Barbara's Children and Carlie-
With much sadness I received the news of Barbara's death on Easter morning. Some of my very first memories are of Barb, Carlie, their parents, Gerty & Carl, and the sheet metal shop on Belmont Avenue. She got me interested in stamp collecting, which I still do to this day. Sitting on a bookcase in my office and on a book self in a guest bedroom sit some of Barb's and Gerty pottery.
May you have some peace in knowing that her faith has now put her in His hands.

I always enjoyed Barb's company at The Crystal Lake Senior Center. We met weekly to do art work. Barb was such a fun lady! It seemed like I always knew her. She shared stories about her life. I admired her so much and felt inspired by how she dealt with so many difficult situations.
Barb was very accepting of people. She was cheerful and had a great sense of humor. I miss her so much.
