McKENNA, Belen Josephine (Jo), age 91, of Dayton Ohio passed away on Sunday, April 16, 2017 at Bethany Village Nursing Home. Jo was born on March 8, 1926 in Flushing, N.Y. She was the beloved wife of James Walter McKenna, who preceded her in death. She was a loving mother who is survived by Kathleen (Dan) Vial, Marybeth (Bill) Stromenger, James M. (Maureen) McKenna, Thomas G. (Mary) McKenna, 8 grand children and 4 great grandchildren. Jo was a longtime resident of Dayton for many years, a volunteer at Kettering Memorial Hospital for over 20 years and a Symphony enthusiast. Friends may call from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. Friday, April 21, 2017 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 411 E. Second St., Dayton, Ohio 45402, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Entombment Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Alzheimer's Association.
