Rita (Porreca) Iannuccillo, 94, of Lincoln, formerly of North Providence, passed away Easter Sunday, April 16, 2017.
She was the beloved wife of the late Arthur Iannuccillo.
Born in New Brunswick, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Onofrio and Pasqualina (Silvestri) Porreca. Rita lived in Cervinara, Italy from the age of 6 months until the age of 17 when she returned to the United States and settled with an uncle in Providence.
She was the devoted mother of Laraine Beck and her husband Keith with whom she resided. She also leaves her loving grandchildren Keith and Kimberly. She was the sister of Flora DeLuca , Lucia L'Europa, Luigi and Bruno Porreca, the late Concetta and Angela Maria Zugg, Carmino and Agostino Porreca, Italia Fiano and Fioravante Porreca.
Visitation will be held Friday, 4-7 p.m. with a funeral service on Saturday at 9 a.m. from the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. in St. Augustine Church, 639 Mount Pleasant Avenue, Providence, followed by graveside burial in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hope Hospice & Palliative Care RI, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI 02904.
