I remember Jim fondly as someone so real, authentic, and larger than life. We worked together on some very grueling and stressful for a few years earlier this decade, and I am grateful for the extremely positive impact Jim had on my career and company.
I remember fondly driving with Jim and Chris back and forth from Evansville, Indiana, smoking cigars and talking about life. Jim was old school in the best possible way and didn't have a phony bone in his body. To me, his personality was almost comic-book quality - you couldn't really think of anyone who was like Jim.
My deepest condolences to the Hubbard family. You should take comfort that no one will ever forget this giant of a man.

My dear Becky and entire Hubbard family, my heart is broken for all of you. As you know, my brother, Jim, and all of you came into my life over 20 years ago, and have been such an AMAZING blessing in my life to finally get to know the family from my Father's side that I'd never known. Getting to know him, and the marvelous memories we shared is a GIFT I shall cherish for the rest of my life!..... the laughter, the stories of our Dad that had me hanging on his every word, the fact that we were both such "Foodies" and always battling the Battle of the Bulge due to our love of great food and wine. Although I'm older, I always considered him my BIG BROTHER due to both of our heights and similar body build. Being able to spend the time at Kristen's wedding with both of you, and all of Jim's children along with my daughter, Adrienne and her husband, Brendan, was such a Joy! He will be missed by many....I know how much I will!!! God Bless You, Becky. I Love You!!!

We are so saddened at the passing of our good friend, Jim. He regaled us with his many life stories about his family and his world travels. Jim was a frequent attendee of Whack Pack, our weekly cigar group at our home in Lincolnwood, where we met for cigars and drinks and always had lively and interesting conversations His intelect and business accumen were envied and respected and raised the bar whenever Jim was in attendance. Jim met many nice folks at these gatherings. Going target shooting with him was a joy, as his knowledge of his weapons and his skill were unmatched. It was our distinct honor and pleasure to have known Jim. Our lives are better for it. A large void has been left in our lives by Jim's passing. Our sincerest condolences and deepest sympathies are extended to Becky and Jim's entire family. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Jim will forever live on in our memories.
