Dear Diane and Doug, I was saddened to learn we had lost your mother, and my long time good friend Betty. We first met in the early 1970's during my first visit to the area. I bought just about the entire contents of her shop, and a great friendship had begun. We joked she was my " Yankee " mother. I saw her every summer in August when I was up to play golf, and had her in my plans for this summer. Betty was one of a kind and I just loved all the time I spent with her. I have you and your families in my thoughts and prayers. Tom Medlin
