Denise Edwards Cooke, 45, died Monday, April 17, 2017 at her home. The funeral service will be held Friday at 11:00 AM at Biggs Funeral Home Chapel with Rev John Keeter officiating; burial will follow at Martin Memorial Gardens.

Denise was born on August 5, 1971 in Martin County daughter of Billy and Judy Edwards. She was a graduate of Williamston High School in 1989 and also a graduate of East Carolina University. Denise was a second grade teacher at Rogers Elementary School. She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church

Survivors in addition to her parents are a daughter Miranda Holliday of Williamston, Brother Troy Edwards and wife Martha of Robersonville, sisters Kim Jones and husband Steve of Williamston and Sharon Long and husband James of Williamston, Fiancé Jeff Rawls of Williamston, nephews Brad Jones, Ryan Jones, and Tyler Pleasants, and niece Sierra Long

The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:30-8:30 PM at Biggs Funeral Home and other times at 2035 View Nicholson Rd. Williamston NC
