Debra Jean Wyskochil, age 64, of Kingsley, passed away peacefully at home, Friday, April 21, 2017, with her family by her side. She was born April 11, 1953 in Grand Rapids, to Larry and Mary Jane (Bueche-Daniels) Jenkins.
Deb graduated from Grand Rapids Catholic Central High School. She went on to work for Revco Drug Store for over 20 years. After moving to Kingsley, Deb worked as a parapro for nearly 20 years for Kingsley Public Schools. Deb married Tony "Dave" Wyskochil on Aug. 8, 1986 in Rockford. Deb was involved with the Outdoor Adventure Club through the Kingsley High School. She had a great love for the Detroit Lions and Detroit Tigers. Deb loved spending time at home and taking care of her family. There were many Friday night garage parties that she loved to cook for, and stories that went along with them. Deb was also known for opening her home to her students as to enjoy some time together outside of school.
Deb will be greatly missed by her husband, Tony "Dave"; children, Patrick (Cathy Watkins) Bentley, of Grand Haven, Paul (Kim) Bentley, of Hudsonville, stepson, Todd (Renee) Nevins, of Newaygo, Melissa (Neil) Wyskochil, of Kingsley, Nicholas (Aleisha) Wyskochil, stepson, Thad Wyskochil, of South Bend, Indiana, and the Rev. Troy Nevins, of Grand Rapids; 15 grandchildren; five siblings, Diane (Jim) Schultz, Judy (Dan) Myszak, Bill (Betsy) Jenkins, Brenda (Bob) Talsma, Steve Jenkins; father, Larry Jenkins; many nieces; nephews; and special friends, Bev Godbieziewski, Gaylord and Janice McQuerr, April Yothers, and Jodi Graham. Deb was preceded in death by her mother; and siblings, Danny Jenkins, Larry Jenkins, and Peter Jenkins.
A private memorial service was held.
Memorial contributions were directed to the Kingsley School IEP program.
Arrangements were entrusted to Covell Funeral Home of Kingsley.
