YOST, Betty J., 100 of Kettering, Ohio passed away Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at the Hospice of Dayton. Betty was born in Massillon, Ohio February 27, 1917, moved to Canton, Ohio in 1928 and to Kettering, Ohio in 1961. Betty was a graduate of Kent State University. She is preceded in death by her parents John and Agnes(Melching)Bozman, husband Jack A. Yost Sr., son LPD Yost III, and brother John F. Bozman Jr. Betty is survived by her brother Wm. H Bozman, daughter Joanne, son Jack(Cheryl), son Stephen and daughter-in-law Lynne. Also, surviving are grandsons Christopher, Patrick(Jackie), Dan IV, Adam(Melissa), Jason, Jeremy(Dolores), Matthew(Tamara) Michael (Solange) and Timothy(Jaclynn). Betty's great-grandchildren are Morgan, Mollie, Coleman, Zachary, Samantha, David, Luke, Oliver and Louis. She also has numerous surviving nieces and nephews. As a devoted educator Betty taught kindergarten at Rolling Fields in the Kettering School district. After 30+ years of teaching she retired to enjoy many wonderful trips to numerous countries and destinations in the USA. She also loved spending time with her adoring family. Betty was a long time member of Southminster Presbyterian Church in Centerville, Ohio. Family will receive friends 11:00AM Saturday, April 29, 2017 at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-Far Hills Chapel; where memorial service will be held 12 Noon.
