Diane Roberts Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Apr. 23, 2017.

Diane K. Roberts, 67, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 22, 2017. She was born in Lansing, Michigan on September 22, 1949 to Lawrence and Fern (Warner) Jean. Diane worked as an accountant for Coca-Cola, and her career began a lifelong love of Coca-Cola products and collectables. She enjoyed new cars, animals, and children. Diane was an active member of Cedar Street Church, serving in the nursery for many years. Diane loved to visit her friend's cabin on Lake Superior, and spent many peaceful hours watching the lake.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Shiela Schagel. Diane will be lovingly remembered by her son, Michael (Holly) Roberts; her sisters, Sue Ann Brownfield and Sondra Bortle; and her many dear friends.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, May 4, 2017 at the Cedar Street Church, 1705 Cedar St., Holt, MI 48842.

Michael,
I am very sorry for your loss. I worked with your mother at Clark Foundation Co. She was a great lady to work with and brought joy to many of the guys at Clark. It was obvious by the storys that she shared, that YOU meant the world to her. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Michael: I was so sorry to heard from Amanda and Justin about your mom. She was such a huge part of our lives when we were neighbors- she watched my kids and we watched you- we were like one big family on many occasions. I remember her ambling over to our driveway with a kitchen towel slung over her shoulder after dinner to chat for awhile. Almost every day. She will always be an important part of our lives.
