I am so sorry to hear that Buck has passed away. He was a wonderful person and he made growing up a joy. I will forever remember our trips to the favorite store.

Dear Kay & Karen
What wonderful memories Buck & you all have given us. The Harrell family wouldn't be the same without his & your faithful friendship these last sixty years in the Oakfield neighborhood. Another of the Greatest Generation for sure.
We love you both

Remembering Mr. Buck as my appointed God Father. He was always there for me when my father could not be. Christmas morning wasn't Christmas morning until he came by to wish us Merry Christmas, have a cup of coffee, take a few puffs on his pipe and watch us play with our toys.

I am very sad to hear of Buck's passing. I thoroughly enjoyed his company every time I got the chance to see him. An authentic hero, America could use a couple million young citizens just like him. Bless his memory.

We lived on Mosshill Road in the late 70's and had two youngsters. Buck would ride his bicycle around the neighborhood and he absolutely delighted our kids. We've been gone from Columbia for over 35 years now, but we've never forgotten 'Major Buck' and his kindness. May he rest in peace.

May the God of all comfort strengthen the family during this time of deep sorrow. Those who pass on, God keeps in his memory because they are precious in his eyes. My sincerest condolences. Psalms 116:15
