Frances Virginia Linkswiler Marine, 96, of Gatewood, WV went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 23, 2017, at Ansted Center Nursing Home in Ansted, WV.
She was born on June 8, 1920 at Gatewood, she was the daughter of the late Michael Linkswiler & Ocie Garrett Taylor.
Mrs, Marine was a homemaker, mother, and grandmother.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Tony Marine; daughter, Janie Kiser; and husband, Pete Marine.
Left to cherish her memory are her children: Rose Ann Worrell, Robert Marine and wife Betty, and daughter, Cathy Miller and husband, Thomas Miller; grandchildren: Brian Meadows, Stacie Hendrix, Mary Ellen Adams, Shelly Munroe, Keith Allen Marine, Lisa Becker, and Barbara Miller; great-grandchildren: Jake Adams, Amanda Adams, Brandon Munroe, Gavin Munroe, Emily Becker, Wyatt Becker, Brian Gonzales, and Josh Gonzales; sister: Edith Shock of Dunbar, WV.
Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Friday, April 28, 2017 at Dodd-Payne-Hess Funeral Home, Fayetteville, with Pastor Harry Fuller officiating. Burial will follow at Bibb Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 PM – 8 PM, Thursday, April 27, 2017 at the funeral home.
