JAMES DOUGLAS COX



James Douglas Cox, 95, passed away on April 1, 2017.



He was born in Harrisonville, Missouri on October 9, 1921.



He married Dorothy Gray in 1944, and they had a daughter, Gloria.



He was a World War II veteran and a Union Teamster retiree.



He and Gloria showed horses all over Missouri and Kansas for 14 years.



He loved animals and people, especially his son in law, Frank Hunsaker.



He outlived most of his friends, all of his siblings, and his wife.



He met Carolyn Tripp, and they were lovely companions for 13 years.



Visitation will be at 1pm and funeral service at 2pm at Floral Hills Funeral Home on April 27, 2017.
