Leonardo Vicente Martinez, 48, of Apex, formerly of Miami, FL, passed away, Sunday, April 23, 2017 in Kitty Hawk, NC.
Leo was born October 18, 1968 in Englewood, NJ.
He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Andressa Oenning Martinez; sons, Nicholas and Felipe Oenning Martinez; parents, Ramon V. Martinez and Francisca Ruiz; brothers, Pedro R. Martinez (Ana Maggie) and Miguel A. Martinez (Jessica).
Leonardo was a loving husband, devoted father and an amazing friend, who was always there to help everyone, especially those he loved, reason why everyone who knew him greatly admired him.
He loved outdoors and sharing time with family and friends. Professionally, computer technology was his passion. And all of these things, he did with profound dedication.
Leo (Bebe) we will miss you terribly and will never forget you. We will have you in our hearts forever. Our Papi, our best friend and confidant; May you rest in peace until we meet again We LOVE YOU.
Funeral services will be held at 3pm Friday, April 28, 2017 at Apex Funeral Home Chapel, 550 W. Williams St, Apex, NC 27502. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to Crosspointe Church, 6911 Carpenter Firestation Road, Cary, NC 27519.
