Robert Dill passed away peacefully on April 23, 2017 at the age of 62 at Yale New Haven Hospital.
Bob was born on March 6, 1955 in New London, CT. He was recently retired from Secor Auto Group after 30 years. He enjoyed Nascar, the Boston Red Sox, the New England Patriots and fishing. Above all he loved being "Pop Pop" to his grandchildren.
Bob was predeceased by his brother David Dill.
He leaves memories to be cherished by his wife Anna "Kim" Dill, their daughters Lindsey Addis of New London and Hayes Sheedy of Griswold, his parents Erwin & Jean Dill of Lyme, his brother Roger Dill and his wife Betsy of Lyme, his sister Karen Leach and her wife Kim of Fitchburg, MA. His grandchildren Ryan and Justin Messina, Chaysten Addis and Jaidin Ladouceur, his nieces Jennifer Dill and Katie Murdock. He will also be missed by his best friend and cousin, Mike O'Connor (Duke) of Dana, NC.
Calling Hours will be held on Thursday, May 4, 2017 from 5:00 until 7:00pm in Fulton-Theroux Funeral Home, 13 Beckwith Ln., Old Lyme. A brief service will immediately follow the calling hours in the funeral home at 7:00. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Lyme Ambulance, PO Box 911, Hadlyme, CT 06439

The greatest of friends from a giving family. I thought of him often and would wonder what he was doing to fill his day. Then I would think he was helping someone fix a car or pitch in on a project for family and friends. Bob was a center piece for all who had the privilege know him.
