I wish I could've thanked Mr. Ault more for introducing me to GIS and being a tough but amazing teacher. He didn't give up on me, though I was often close to giving up myself. Thank you JT3. Rose and Livvi: I'm so sorry for your loss and am sending much love and light your way.

Rose, My prayers and thoughts are with you during this time. You and Jim were very kind when I was working with you in the Bursar's Office at UNL so many years ago.

Mr Ault beame my advisor and favorite professor in the fall of 1971. It was a lot like having Mark Twain as a teacher with a story and an expression for every occasion. I also worked for him in Creighton's Center for Social Research. We kept in touch over the year, most recently seeing him at the Radial Cafe speaking over collegues and at length on the state of political affairs. As a lifelong teacher myself your stories live on in my classroom. Thanks, brother.

Wish I could have been there with you, but I am so happy Jon was able to. We are grateful that we were able to visit with Jim several times this year, that was a gift from God. Praying for you Rose, Livvi and Dan as you face your future plans. Love.

I only met him a few times, and each time he was great fun to speak with. I will always remember that he helped Livvi and Danny at the start of their life together, and even after they got their wings and flew the nest. It is indeed sad that he's gone, though one has to admit he literally lived his life to the fullest. My thoughts are with you all, Livvi. *hugs*

Death is never easy and it brings great sorrow. May your family be comforted by thoughts of happier times and precious memories. May God surround and comfort your family at this very difficult time. Psalms 71:21
