Peterson, Richard H.
Age 81, longtime resident of New Hope, Minnesota. Passed away peacefully April 29, 2017.
Born August 4, 1935, in Eagle Bend, Minnesota, to Chloreen and Enoch Peterson. Served in the U.S. Army in Korea from 1958-60. Employed 37 years as a bus driver for MTC with a spotless driving record. Loved hunting, fishing and watching Minnesota sports teams with his son, Dale. Spent the last 18 winters in southern Texas with his lovely wife of 53 years, Muriel. He loved the holidays and made delicious Thanksgiving turkeys and Easter hams.
Preceded in death by his Parents; Brother, Merle Peterson and his Wife, Gloria; Mother-in-law, Idella Johnstone; Sister-in-law, Helen Peterson; Nephew, Terry; Brother-in-law, Bob.
Survived by Wife Muriel and Son Dale, and his Dog, Jenna; Brother, Fran Peterson and Sister, Dorothy Arndt; and Many Nieces and Nephews and Friends.

He was a right great neighbor, and a Great coffee buddy & friend! I and all my family are going to miss him! Hearts that won't easily mend! A true- (Green thumb), I'm gonna miss swapping stories, along with Salsa or other items grown in his garden, for jelly or jam usually just for free! A neighbor like him, is what we all should strive to be! A downright Gem!!
