Maryellen Biddulph Obituary

Maryellen (Adams) Biddulph, 84, of East Stroudsburg, passed away peacefully surrounded by her children and family on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at The PHS Hospice House. She was the loving wife of the late Bertrand E. Biddulph with whom she shared 23 years of marriage before his passing on March 16, 1978.
Born December 27, 1932 in Plainfield, NJ, Maryellen was the daughter of the late Raymond G. and Mary E. (Luerssen) Adams.
Maryellen was an avid bingo player and shuffle boarder. She worked for many years at Medical Associates of Monroe County and was a longtime volunteer at Pocono Medical Center. She was also a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Smithfield.
In addition to her parents, and husband, Bertrand, Maryellen had been preceded in death by her sister Barbara Graziano, of Ocula, FL, brother in-law William Paschal, of Middlefield, MA and daughter in-law Sheryl Snyder of East Stroudsburg, PA.
Those left to cherish her memory include her siblings: brother: Raymond Adams Jr., of Landrum, SC; sisters Susanne Adams, of Stewartsville, NJ and Patricia Paschal, of Middlefield, MA; son: George Biddulph and his wife Arlene, of Virginia Beach, VA; daughters: Cynthia Roth and her husband Mickey, of Virginia Beach, VA; Wendy Biddulph, of Tannersville, PA; and Laura Biddulph, of East Stroudsburg, PA; six grandchildren: Alisa Nixon and her husband Steven, of Hackettstown, NJ; Chrissy Smith and her husband Dores, of Richmond, VA; Luke Biddulph and his wife Kelli, of Biloxi, MS; Kerry Toman and her husband Sean of Stroudsburg, PA; Corey Walton, Dylan Walton and Hailey Walton, of Catawissa, PA; three great-grandchildren: Savannah Metzger, Andrew Smith, Brooke Nixon and Austin; one great-great grandchild: Isaiah; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation and funeral services will begin at 10:00 AM on Friday, May 5, 2017, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Smithfield, East Stroudsburg, PA. Burial of cremated remains will take place immediately following the service at St. Paul's Lutheran Church Cemetery. All are welcome to stay for coffee and cake afterwards.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St Paul's Lutheran Church of Smithfield 139 Craigs Meadow Road East Stroudsburg or to The PHS Hospice House 502 VNA Road East Stroudsburg PA, 18301.
