Elinor Ruth Ferguson, 87 died Friday, May 5th in Glendale Az. Elinor was born in Detroit, Michigan on October 6, 1929. In 1960 she loaded up her three children and drove to Arizona to get out of the cold winters of Michigan. Elinor was an executive secretary for many years, 25 of which were as a civil service secretary working for the Air National Guard before retiring in 1984. After several years Elinor went back to work at the Operation Center for Wells Fargo Bank, where she spent 18 years of service before retiring in 2012. In retirement Elinor read books, watched the game show network, crocheted and never missed watching her AZ Diamondbacks play baseball even after her favorite player, Luis Gonzalez retired. Elinor is survived by her Daughter, Kathryn Williams (Doby), son Kevin Barry, seven grandchildren, Clayton Boop (Heather), Clifton Boop (Jenny), Carlton Boop (Salina), Candace Deuel (Darrin), Christina Barry, Travis Williams and Deann Winter (Brad). Elinor also has eleven Great Grandchildren and another one on the way. At Elinor's request there will not be a service for her, so in lieu of flowers you can send donations to Hospice of the Valley in Elinor's name.
