Sal was my first crush in high school. We had so much fun singing and dancing together. We would write notes to make each other crack up. I think of him often, especially when I hear Lionel Richie, Michael Jackson and Earth, Wind and Fire songs. My thoughts and love are with his family.
Sal will ALWAYS hold a special place in my heart.

Sal was one of the funniest and kindest people I ever knew. We met working at the City of San Diego 31 years ago, and his sense of humor and awesome laugh got me through some very horrible times. His dark humor would make me laugh so hard! I will miss our pizzas, trips to Starbucks, and deep heartfelt conversations.
Love you, Sal.

Love you cousin. I still remember as a little kid coming over and playing with the stuff in your room, you showing me the old clock trick, and you going on our first camping trip with me, my mom and dad. Although I didn't get to see you much in our later years your infectious happy spirit will always stay with me. With so much love....Jojoe Bean

Sal was an amazing person. We knew each other through junior high and high school. I will always remember his infectious smile and spirit. He was a friend I wish I didn't lose touch with...after all these years...my memories of him bring a smile to my heart. I pray that all his family and friends are comforted with the best of memories of time shared with Sal.
