Gary and I went to elementary school together at St. Bernadettes in Lancaster, Ohio. Those are very early memories together but I do remember when he left to move to Texas, we had a " going away" gathering in my mom's back yard. It was Mike F., Monica S., Lee Ann M. And I think Mike S.........pretty good for kids back in the mid 70's and all we had were our bikes! I remember various gifts given to him and especially a small plaque. I'm sure I have a picture of Gary sitting on the picnic table bench holding that plaque. He was so funny and so such a special person even way back then. We'll all meet up again.
So sorry for you loss.....Sincere Sympathy,
