Thomas K. Neuhauser, 61 of Markle passed away at 2:47 pm on Monday, May 8, 2017 at his residence. Tom was a 1973 graduate of Norwell High School. He was a cattle and grain farmer his entire life. In addition he was also a school bus driver and a custodian for Northern Wells Community Schools. Tom enjoyed spending time with his family. He was a member of Prospect United Methodist Church.
Tom was born on September 8, 1955 in Fort Wayne, the son of Max E. and Thelma G. (Bashore) Neuhauser.
He was united in marriage to Barbara M. McCune on August 22, 1982 at Prospect United Methodist Church. His wife survives.
Additional survivors include three daughters: Victoria Neuhauser of Rockport, TX; Monica (Matthew) Foust of Wabash; Tonya (Richard) Cooley of Markle; a brother: Kent Neuhauser of Markle; a sister: Karen (Scott) Armstrong of Fort Wayne; and two granddaughters: Lilly and Ava both of Rockport, TX.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Max and Thelma Neuhauser.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 11, 2017 from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm at the Myers Funeral Home Markle Chapel, 415 N. Lee Street, Markle, Indiana.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, May 12, 2017 at 10:00 am with one hour of visitation prior to the service at the Myers Funeral Home Markle Chapel with Pastor Jana Taylor officiating.
Interment will be at the Markle Cemetery.
Memorial donations can be made out to Wells County Cancer Services or Prospect United Methodist Church both in care of Myers Funeral Home, P.O. Box 403, Markle, IN 46770.
