Fayetteville – Wilda Mae McPhail, 87, died Sunday, May 7, 2017.
Wilda was born April 25, 1930 in Raleigh County, West Virginia to the late Rufus Edward and Effie Mae Morman Cline.
Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 33 years, Joseph McPhail; brothers; Tom Cline and Don Cline; sisters Pauline Meadows and Fairy Hedrick.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, May 13, 2017 at 2:00 pm in Reeves Funeral Home Chapel. Visitations will be Friday, May 12, 2017 from 7:00-9:00 pm at Reeves Funeral Home. Inurnment will be held in West Virginia at a later date.
Those left to morn her passing include three daughters, Pam Hamilton (Hank) of Beaumont, TX, Cathy Ferree of Leland, NC and JoAnne McPhail of Ashville, NC; one sister, Juanita Adams of Newberry, FL; two brothers, Glen Cline of Sterling Heights, MI and Roger Cline of Kansas City, MO. Four grandchildren, Alison Carpenter (Daniel) and son Henry, Scott Hamilton, David Hamilton and Sarah Hamilton all of Beaumont, TX.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to the Food Pantry of Christ United Methodist Church, 3101 Raeford Road, Fayetteville, NC 28303 in Wilda's memory, a cause she held dear to her heart and supported faithfully.
