Angelita Z. Valadez of Zephyrhills, FL., formerly of IN,
Our beloved mother and grandmother, went to be with the Lord on May 6, 2017 at the age of 87. Angelita was born in Mexico, August, 16, 1929. She was a loving, kind person that made friends easily, always showing up with a smile, kind words and support. Angelita was a devoted member of St. Rita's Catholic Church in Dade City, FL. She became a snowbird soon after her retirement. Angelita enjoyed cooking, walks, trips to the Flea Market, sightseeing and short road trips. Spending time with her family was the greatest joy in her life.
She is survived by her daughters, Ofelia and Beatrice Valadez of FL; sons, Jesse and Carlos Valadez of IN., Tony (Gloria) Valadez of MI; daughter-in-law, Susan Valadez of IN; 20 grandchildren; 55 great grandchildren. Angelita was preceded in death by her husband, Eliodora; sons, Jose and Mario Valadez; grandson, C.J. Meza.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am, Saturday May 13, 2017 at St. Charles Catholic Church, 4916 Trier Rd. Ft. Wayne, IN 46815 with burial following at Highland Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the Klaehn Fahl and Melton Funeral Home , 420 W. Wayne St. Ft. Wayne, IN. on Friday May 12, 2017 from 6-8pm.
