Bloomington – Clonnie E. Back, 75, of Bloomington, passed away Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at his residence.
Clonnie was born April 5, 1942, in Osceola, AR, the son of Jacob and Hallie Kyle Back.
Surviving are one child; four sisters, Jessie (Eldon) Hinshaw of Bloomington; Donna Davis of Joliet; Barbara (Danny) Shepherd of Bloomington; and Marion Davey of Bloomington; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; six sisters; one brother; and six brothers-in-law.
Clonnie was known throughout the community for his music. He was a very talented singer and could play any instrument that was handed to him. He was self-taught on music at a young age. He had his own band here in Bloomington called "County Connections". They played throughout Bloomington area in the 1970 and 1980's. Music was his heart.
A visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Saturday, May 13, 2017 at East Lawn Funeral Home. A private graveside service will be held at a later date in East Lawn Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association. Online condolences may be shared with the family at eastlawn-bloomington.com.
