Dear Mrs. Rotchford, Monica and Family,
Our deepest sympathy to all of you. Charlie Rotchford was truly a gentleman and a gentle man as well. He was so humble and caring - always full of kind words that made others feel good. And always grateful for every day and radiated his goodness to all of us. We will always remember his smile and positive spirit despite any hardships.
God has welcomed him with open arms!
With love and prayers,
Dr. Ayas, Maryann, Lourdes and Dalya

Charlie as we knew him worked for GSA and we worked together when he was Building Manager for the offices of the White House West Wing.Charlie had the ability to serve the upper officials of the President with dignity and forethought.I served as his contact with the Administrator of GSA and we kept him satisfied and appreciative of the compliments he got from the President and his Staff because of the actions by Charlie. He was an honorable and thoughtful man and God Bless Him.

My thoughts and prayers go out today to the family of Charlie. He was indeed a servant of God serving our church for as long as I can remember in some capacity or another, he always made everyone feel welcome as he ushered us to our regular Sunday seats. I recall on one Sunday morning the minister announcing Charlie would not be doing his regular job as he had taken a day of to go see the Redskins play the Dallas Cowboys. (everyone laughed) Charlie Rotchford was a shining star in my life and for that I will always be grateful.
