Cecil Dodd Martin, 30, of Rustburg passed away Friday, May 12, 2017, at Lynchburg General Hospital. Born July 14, 1986, in Lynchburg, he was the son of Hester Dodd Martin, Jr. and Margie Jennings Martin.
Cecil was a loving son, brother, nephew, uncle and friend.
In addition to his parents, Cecil is survived by his two sisters, Rachel Trent and her husband Dale of Brookneal and Angela Stone and her husband Caleb of Lynchburg; special nephew, Lazarus Stone; special niece, Iris Grace Stone; and numerous uncles, aunts and friends.
A memorial service will be conducted 12:00 (noon) p.m., Monday, May 15, 2017, at Whitten Park Avenue Chapel with Pastor Tommy Bryant officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, 3959 Electric Rd., #222, Roanoke, VA 24018.

We will miss Cecil. He was a great neighbor.
