Brookshire, Thomas H., of Alabaster, AL, Age 77, died May 14, 2017 in his home. Survivors include his wife, Ann Pappas Brookshire; son, Phillip Brookshire; daughter, Nicole Brookshire Jones; step daughter, Shelley Winfield; sister, Betty Stanek, Peggy Elkins, Judy Praytor; brothers, Jerry Brookshire and Bill Goddard; grandchildren; Garrett Jones, Erin Jones, Jake Brookshire; step grandchildren, Carmen Winfield and Celsey Winfield. A Celebration of his life service will be held at Graveside begining at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday May 17, 2017 at Elmwood Cemetery . The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. till 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Ridout’s Elmwood Chapel. In Lieu of flowers the family suggest donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America.

Ann and children, please accept our sincerest and heartfelt condolences on the loss of Tommy. All of you are in our prayers still, as you have been, and we pray too, that Almighty God will keep Tommy in his arms.
