A Memorial Gathering Celebrating the Life of Betty Gentry Dyer Senter, 89, a resident of Raleigh, will be held on Saturday, May 20, 2017 from 2-4 pm at Mitchell Funeral Home (7209 Glenwood Avenue, Raleigh, NC).
Mrs. Senter passed away Monday, May 15, 2017 under hospice care at her daughter Marcie and Randy Garris' home. Betty Gentry was born February 8, 1928 in Asheville, the daughter of Jones and Cannie Gentry. She was preceded in death by her husband John Osco Dyer, Sr.
On September 27, 2003, Betty was united in marriage to Jodie Senter. Betty is also survived by her children and spouses: John (Linda) Dyer, of Rolesville, NC, Mark (Marianne) Dyer, of Batavia, IL, Marcie (Randy) Garris, of Fayetteville, NC; six loving grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice.
