Mary Joan Richards, 85, of Sunrise FL, peacefully passed away on Sunday, May 14, 2017. Survived by her three loving children: Cynthia Dean, William Richards, III and wife Nancy, and Holly Jarrell and husband Powell; six grandchildren: Erin Dean McLane and husband Chris, Heather Dean, William Richards, IV, Sara Jarrell, Emily Jarrell, and William Jarrell. Also survived by her sister Kathryn Smith and husband Larry of Erie, PA and their children and grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 20, 2017 from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm and religious services will begin at 2:00 pm at Forest Lawn Funeral Home South. Joan will be laid to rest with her late husband at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens at 3:00 pm .

Father Albert Cutie
Our deepest sympathy to the children and grandchildren of Joan and William Richards. They were beloved members of St. Benedict's Episcopal Church for many years and are fondly remembered by all. Her name will be mentioned, and she will be memorialized at our masses and services. May Joan rest in peace!
