Mr. Franklin D. Ellerbee, age 75 of Griffin, passed away Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at Brightmoor Hospice.

Mr. Ellerbee was born January 14, 1942 in Thomaston. He was a faithful member of Life Church since 1952. Mr. Ellerbee loved to travel & RVing, loved to fish and loved his dogs. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Ellerbee, Jr. and Ethel Mae Daniel Ellerbee.

Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Andrea Ellerbee; daughter & son-in-law, Susan & Rev. James Beale; sons & daughters-in-law, Donis & Dubbie Ellerbee, Darrell & India Ellerbee; sister, Brenda Cato; grandchildren, Mitchell, Michael, Jessie, Matthew & Cassie Ellerbee and Justin, Joshua and Emily Beale; 6 great-grandchildren and beloved fur baby, Sophie.

Funeral services for Mr. Franklin D. Ellerbee will be held Saturday, May 20, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the sanctuary of Life Church, 2510 N. Expressway. Burial will follow in Westwood Gardens. Friends may visit the family Friday, May 19, 2017 from 6 – 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
