Dawn Melanie Elliot, age 56, of Kennesaw, GA , passed away on Tuesday, May 16th, 2017. She was born on February 10th, 1961 to Ermyle Tron and the late Charles Tron.
Dawn's favorite activities included shopping and going to the beach. Mrs. Elliot was a highly regarded teacher at Hickory Hills Elementary. Dawn was a loving mother, wife and friend who will be cherished and remembered by all.
Dawn Elliot is preceded in death by her father, Charles Tron. She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Doug Elliot; mother, Ermyle Tron; sons, Eric Elliot and Mitch Elliot; brother Chip Tron and his wife Dana; sisters Dionn Tron Loar, Debbie Miller, Denise McQueen and her husband Dave; nieces Jenny Hildenbrand and Anna Tron; and nephews David Miller and Kyle Miller.
A memorial service to celebrate the life of Dawn will be held at Due West United Methodist Church on Saturday, May 27th , at 11:00 AM. The family will receive friends for a visitation at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home on Friday, May 26th , from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM.

I met Dawn at Miami U and although I have not had any contact with her since 1983 I remember her warmth and spirit and beauty and extend my deepest condolences to her family.
