Dorothy A. Verret, 83, of Poplarville, passed away on Friday, May 19, 2017 at her residence.

Mrs. Verret was born August 8, 1933 to Charlie W. Reid and Bertie M. Brock Reid. She was a homemaker.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Verrett; six brothers, Burlon Reid, Albert Aubrey Reid, Alvin Leslie Reid, Charles Clinton Reid, Robert Leonard Reid, and Charles Junior Reid.

Family members include one sister, Nell Herndon; two special nephews, Cory Knight and Brett Knight; a host of extended family and frieds.

Funeral services will be at WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 315 Highway 11 South, Poplarville, MS, 39470 on Monday, May 22, 2017 at 12:00 pm. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm, Sunday at the funeral home.
