Allyne Rose Roach, 91, of Bloomington, passed away Thursday, May 18, 2017 at home.
Allyne was born February 24, 1926, the daughter of Albert and Hulda Simpsen. She married Terry Roach on July 31, 1982, in Bloomington. He survives.
Also surviving are their children, Michelle (Lionel) Parker of Bloomington, and Terry J. Roach of Normal; two grandchildren, Shawn and Matt Parker; a brother, Daryl (Dottie) Simpsen of Saybrook; three sisters, Alberta (Darwin) Zachary of CA; Shirley (Warren) Compston of Bloomington; and Lois (Joe) Lehmen of TX. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a grandchild, Jaclyn Mowrer.
Allyne was employed for eighteen years at State Farm. She was awarded part owner of the Wishing Well for twenty years. She was the secretary of the bartender and restaurant association and became a private nanny. Allyne was a gourmet chef, an Avon representative for many years and had a passion for decorating for every holiday. She loved the Saint Louis Cardinals. She loved her family.
