Dorothy Sarah Barber, age 90, of Charlotte, NC, formerly of Michigan, passed away on May 20, 2017. She was born on January 6, 1927, daughter of the late Ralph and Mary Yates Bouchard.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Howard J. Barber; her sister, Jean Call and her brothers Thomas Bouchard and Leonard Bouchard. She is survived by her daughter, Carol C. Williams; her grandson, Russell P. Williams and wife Fielding S. Williams and grandson Jeffrey A. Williams and wife Amy B. Williams; and her four great-grandchildren, Riley, Jex, Hoyt and Sydney Williams.
A service to Celebrate the life of Dorothy will be Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at 10:00am in the McEwen Funeral Home's Colonial Chapel. Interment will follow in Lakeland Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Benton Heights Presbyterian Church Building Fund, 2701 Concord Hwy, Monroe NC, 28110.
