Seay, Irene Anne Pittner, 81, of Tampa passed away May 22, 2017 with her daughter by her side. Born November 3, 1935 she is predeceased by her parents, Irene and Arnold Pittner and her husband of 48 years, Erskine.
Irene loved volunteer work supporting the arts and served on the boards of FOTA, the Orchestra Guild, the Scarfone Gallery and two terms as president of Las Damas de Arte.
She is survived by her only child, Irene Rose Seay Potter (David); grandsons, Harrison James Potter, David Erskine Potter (Erin), and great-grandchildren Lola Grace and Callahan Manteiga Potter.
The family will have a private graveside service. In honor of Irene’s love of Scotties, donations may be made to The Scottish Terrier Rescue Society of Florida, c/o STROF Treasurer, 17905 Timberview St. Tampa FL 33647.

I attended Thonotosassa Elementary School with Irene......also spent many happy hours on beautiful Lake Thonotosassa playing with her and her Mom always served us such wonderful goodies.....sorry we never got together as adults.....many memories we could have shared......she was a beautiful person.

I was so saddened to learn of Irene's passing.
I have three decades of memories we shared - lunches, Art Shows, dinners with our husbands and oh so many parties and New Years Eves. They were happy times.
I will cherish those memories always.
