Darrell Lee " Girl Britches" " Slim " Carpenter, 68, Colorado City passed away in Colorado City on Monday, May 22, 2017 after a brief illness.

Darrell is survived by his wife Brenda Carpenter of Colorado City, his son Ray Carpenter of Big Spring, his daughter Andra Manning and husband James of Dallas, by his grandchildren Rebecca Carpenter, Elizabeth Carpenter, and Caleb Chaney, and by his great-grandchildren Nathan and Maddie. His sister-in-law Caroline Carpenter of Odessa also survives.

Brenda and family,
What a blessing Darrell was to our family! He gifted us with peace of mind that the ranch was in good hands. This red-headed step-sister loved and appreciated him so much.
Blessings to you my dear friend. I am praying for Jesus to hold you close and grace you with His peace that passes understanding. Love you.
